2014 Lab Day - Cancer in Kids @ RCH - CIKA

2014 Lab Day

The 2014 CIKA Lab Day took place on Sunday 30th March at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute at the RCH. This presented a wonderful opportunity for CIKA members and supporters to see the Lecia Microscope that was purchased with funds raised on the CIKA Coach Drive last year and to talk to some of the people undertaking the research that CIKA supports.

Michael Sullivan, assisted by Louise Ludlow and
Alex Sexton-Oates outlines the work being done
by the MCRI to raise survival rates above the
current level of eighty percent.

Anna Czajko demonstrates the use of the Leica
microscope purchased with CIKA funds in 2013.
