RCH stall - Cancer in Kids @ RCH - CIKA

In 2013 Pam Phillips and Sala Rubinstein took over management of CIKA's hospital stalls with the aid of Friend of CIKA, Lois Staunton. The other members of the team are: Anne Bell, Pat Livingstone, Yvonne Pagan and Lyn Weber who have been joined this year by Leah and Bonnie.

The stall is set up in the hospital foyer on the second Thursday of each month. If you would like to volunteer as part of this fund-raising team, please ring Pam Phillips on 0418 344 223 or Sala Rubinstein on 0411 515 119.

In addition to the stall that is run each month in the hospital foyer, CIKA stalls can be seen from time to time in other venues. One of the most popular of these is that run by Pam and Lois at The Pines Shopping Centre on the corner of Blackburn and Reynolds Road, Doncaster East. In April 2014 this stall moved from its previous venue in the car park to a prominent spot in the food court. You can read more by clicking here.

December 2015. Carmel arrived by train loaded down with beautifully handmade and decorated Christmas cakes. They sold very quickly and Carmel was very happy to stay on and help with the stall for the day. She also lent a hand with the sale of raffle tickets.

Faye had her hands full managing the sale of thes beautiful donated handmade items.

October 2014. Margaret Greenwood and her husband Geoff have supported CIKA for many years. Margaret is known as the "Jam Lady" and has donated tens of thousands of dollars to the RCH through the sale of her homemade jams, sauces and aprons. In fact, she is now heading for the $150,000 mark.

Margaret has shown great dedication and is a welcome sight when she sets up her stand at the RCH. Thank you, Margaret, for being part of the CIKA team.

We welcome the donation of small clean jars, fruit and sugar. If you can help please contact us at
